Here is another recipe from my collection
The Grilled Cheese Sandwich with a herb butter béchamel sauce.
Ingredients: for 2 sandwiches
4 slices of toast
6 slices of ham
250 grams of grated cheddar
6 slices of mozzarella
150 gram herb butter
100 grams of dried tomatoes in oil
0,5-1 cup milk
1 tablespoon flour
Some mustard
Preparation:
Béchamel butter sauce
1. First, let 60 grams of herb butter go out in a pan.
2. Add 1 tablespoon of flour to the melted butter and stir.
3. Deglaze with milk and stir it in.
4. Bring it to a boil, stirring constantly, until a thick creamy consistency is reached.
Sandwich:
1. Spread mustard on bottom slices of the sandwiches.
2. Then top each sandwich with 3 slices of mozzarella and 3 slices of cooked ham.
3. Then spread some of the grated cheddar on top and fold the sandwich together with a little bit of force.
4. Now fry the sandwiches in the remaining herb butter on both sides until the sandwiches have a nice color.
5. Place the sandwiches on a plate or in a baking dish. Spread the dried tomatoes on the sandwich, then pour the béchamel butter sauce on top. Then spread the rest of the cheese on top and bake the whole thing briefly in the oven until the cheese is nicely melted.
